Description
This is an easy-to-use instrument for measuring the distance to the water level in a well or borehole. By simply reeling out the tape down the borehole, the water surface level can be readily measured. When the surface is reached the unit emits a loud buzz and the LED lights are illuminated.
The 100m Water Level Dipper has a probe design which reduces the chances of erroneous readings due to cascading water, and cannot become clogged with dirt or foam. The sensitivity switch allows for variable water conditions, such as foam, or cascading water. The reel is very durable, and a brake on the back of the reel allows the reel to be locked in position.
The tape is marked in metres, centimetres and millimetres. The unit is powered by one nine volt battery which is easy to access from the front of the reel.
