10 Metre Slimline

£145.00

This is a small lightweight unit which is easy to carry around in the field. It is used for measuring depth from a fixed position to the surface of a body of water. Its main elements are a probe/sensor, a graduated tape, a reel assembly, and a cover plate incorporating circuit board, battery, output selector, sensitivity knob.

It may be used to measure water levels in wells, boreholes, water tables, aquifers and large tanks, to make drawdown tests, and to calculate volume/time recovery rates.

The tape is graduated in cm and metres. The white background and black and red markings are easy to read.  Numerals are provided every ten cm with a marker at each cm and a special marker for the 5cm graduation. The tape is narrow – only 6cm wide – to minimise the chances of sticking to pipes in the borehole,  or the side of the borehole. It is 2mm thick which provides strength and durability.
